As our fiilm is an independent, low budget we have compared it to other independent films audiences so we could predict our target audience. Throughout the process of making our OTS we compared it closely to Se7en as it has similar themes thoughout and although it had a multi million bugdet it used very little special effects and focused on camera angles. We also compared it closely to Girl, Interrupted as both have strong independent female leads and have themes of drug abuse and phycological issues. I discussed our audiences in relation to these films and YouGov & Pete Buckinghams audience demographics in a blog post.
